Yongan Yang

Research Professor, Department of Chemistry

Yongan YangEnergy is an important consideration to modern society, particularly the development of sustainable and renewable energy, which has received enormous attention and investment. The Yang group draws upon expertise from chemistry, materials, nanoscience and the energy sciences to synthesize new and improved materials, assess their properties, and develop new applications to improve the efficiency of sustainable energy conversion and storage devices, such as: rechargeable batteries, electrocatalysis, and extraction of value-added materials from chemical wastes.
