RESEARCH DESCRIPTION

The Sellinger research group focuses on the design, synthesis and characterization of organic, polymeric, and hybrid based semiconductor materials for application in solar cells (organic photovoltaics-OPV), flat panel displays (organic light emitting diodes-OLED), white lighting, and thin film transistors (organic TFT).

Below is a list of ongoing projects in the Sellinger group:

  • Electron transporting organic semiconductors for photovoltaics (OPV)
  • Organic dyes and hole conductors for solid state dye sensitized solar cells (ssDSSCs)
  • Wide band gap host materials for organic light emitting diodes (OLED)
